You can disrobe to your level of comfort. Keep in mind you’re in a private tanning room so you can choose to wear, or not wear, whatever you choose! Every piece of equipment is sanitized with a hospital grade cleaner after each session!
Yes. Your eyes are very sensitive to UV light. Since your eyelids are the thinnest skin on your body, the UV light can penetrate that skin to the surface of your eyes. The FDA requires that all tanners wear FDA approved eye wear when tanning indoors. Placing a towel over your face or sunglasses are not always enough protection.
We offer a complete line of eye protection, with all of them costing only a few dollars.
The most important reason for using a tanning lotion is that it replaces the depleted moisture that you lose during the tanning process. Dry skin reflects UV light, so if you are not using an indoor tanning lotion, you can be wasting up to 60% of your tanning session.
Length of time will depend on your individual skin type, come visit us and one of our tanning techs will help customize the best plan for you!
This depends on your individual skin type, but you should leave with some color after your first session! The level you choose will also make a difference, our high pressure beds are available for instant color!
Once you have achieved your desired tan maintaining it becomes relatively easy. Depending on the equipment you choose to use will vary the frequency you need to tan in order to maintain your new tan. In our level 1 equipment we generally recommend 3 to 4 times per week. In our level 2 and 3 equipment it drops down to 2 or 3 visits a week. If high pressure is your thing, 1 to 2 visits a week is all that is needed to maintain your golden brown tan!
Don’t be fooled by the numerical numbering system of tanning equipment. The level does not necessarily mean a higher is going to burn you faster than a level 1. (actually, that is the furthest from the truth, you will burn less in a higher level). Each piece of state of the art equipment has its own advantages over others. One of our experienced tanning techs will explain this to you upon your initial visit.
